With Gevaert Editions
Founded by Saskia Gevaert in Brussels in 2008, Gevaert Editions produces artists’ books and limited editions in close collaboration with contemporary artists, including Koenraad Dedobbeleer, Sylvie Eyberg, Jef Geys, Jacqueline Mesmaeker, Rodney Graham, and Vaclav Pozarek.
Gevaert Editions approaches publishing as a process of production, allowing each project to find its own form across books, printed matter, and objects. Rather than starting from a predetermined book format, each publication develops in relation to the artist’s practice and the particular conditions of the project. The editions are also shown in gallery settings, often for limited periods and occasionally through performative activations.
