As Found, a printed matter presentation by 00123 in collaboration with INKAA.
Presented at INKAA, As Found unfolds through encounters between printed matter, craft materials, and objects. The presentation brings practices into dialogue through a shared concern with folding, surface, tactility, and traces over time.

Established in 2018, INKAA is a craft collective and independent fashion label based between Kuala Lumpur and Terengganu. Their practice draws on batik, hand-dyeing, mengkuang weaving, and brassware, developed in close collaboration with artisans across Malaysia.

Publication List
The selected publications approach books in different ways. Some look at the page as a space through sequence, placement, repetition, and form. Some work with sound, language, and image. Others focus on surface, texture, printing, and paper, connecting with INKAA’s practice of fabric, dyeing, weaving, and handwork.
There is also a shared interest in time and traces — fragments, remains, moments, and things found as they are. This is where the title As Found / Ditemui becomes important. It is about noticing relationships between publications, materials, and traces that are already there.

Conceived as part of As Found, this publication is not a record of the presentation but one of its elements, echoing its attention to folding, surface, tactility, and traces over time.
The pages can be torn away, each featuring a textile image at a different scale. As pages are removed, the publication becomes thinner, unfolding as a sequence of shifting surfaces and details. Visitors encounter it at different stages throughout the presentation.
Its printed and tactile details respond to INKAA’s handwork and craft knowledge, bringing printing into dialogue with INKAA’s material practice.
